Tax statements are mailed out in October and become Delinquent on Feb. 1st. To avoid accruing any penalty and interest please pay before Feb. 1st. If you wish to mail your payment please send it to:

If you wish to bid on tax sale properties please come in advance to the Brewster County Tax Office to register. I shouldn't take long to register but it would be best if you could be here an hour in advance. Tax sales take place on the first Tuesday of the month (if there is one scheduled), on the Brewster County Courthouse steps.
We now have a list of the upcoming Delinquent Tax Sale Properties, we will try to update this list as they are taken off. The next tax sale is anticipated to be in spring 2010.
